You will complete the Strengths Finder Assessment, in which you will develop a personal leadership philosophy that reflects your characteristics, core values, and strengths. You will apply your Strengths Finder Assessment to your written leadership philosophy.
To prepare:
Access the Strengths Finder Assessment Tool. When you complete the Strengths Finder Assessment, you will receive a Signature Theme Report to download.
Reflect on your results of the Strengths Finder Assessment and consider what these results convey in terms of your behaviors and characteristics in contributing to your leadership style/philosophy.
Review the three scholarly research resources you identified that evaluate the impact of leadership behaviors, styles, and characteristics for transformational leadership. (You may refer to the same resources you used for the Module 1 Pre-Assessment or research for additional scholarly articles, as needed.)
Use the scholarly resources on leadership you selected to support your philosophy statement.
Leadership Philosophy
In 2–3 pages (total for all topics), develop a leadership philosophy that reflects your characteristics, core values, and strengths as they pertain to your leadership skills and profile. Your leadership philosophy should include the following:
Analysis of your Strengths Finder Assessment summarizing the results of your profile.
A description of two key leadership behaviors that you wish to strengthen.
A development plan that explains how you plan to improve upon the two key leadership behaviors you selected. Be specific and provide examples. * NOTE: The response must synthesize and integrate at least three outside resources and two competency-specific resources that fully support the responses provided.
